Looking to install my Lift Pump, But I need to know what type & size fitting goes from the exit side of the fuel cooler to the flex line. I plan on making a short line to go from my lift pump discharge,to the fuel cooler. And use the stock line on the inlet side of the pump. THX!

Its a special quick disconect deal. You get the fittings with the TTS kits but dont know of another source.
IIRC the fuel cooler is on the return side of the fuel system. :)

I was looking at the fitting on the flexable fuel line, where it attatches to the fuel cooler. It looks like it would be a flared fitting and not one of those PITA "Special Tool Required" fittings that everybody loves. Is there a special degree of flare, or is it a normal brake line type of flare? Also, what is the threat NPT,STD, BST ?

It is a special fitting that reqires the tool to pop lose. The tool set can be had for like 10$. Its not a normal flared fitting.

The fuel cooler is on the wrong line to add a lift pump! The fuel cooler is on the return line from the engine so do not adapt at that location.

Damn, and I thought I had it all figured out;). Glad I didn't rip into her today. I figured that the return line would be the larger line, for no back pressure problems on the supply side. Thanks a bunch for the info!

the fitting you're refering to is called a saginaw fitting, the threades one into the cooler. Hope your install went well.
