Thursday I had to take my lly in for smoking white and alot of smoke I couldn't see behind me and it was banging then it went into I guess a safe mode with no power so I drove it strait to the dealer they said I have bad fuel so they drained my full tank changed fuel filter it was good for about 30-45 mins of driving then it did the same thinghttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley7.gif


took it back friday they said the fuel was the same way (contaminated) and now it has 2 bad injectors they said that some one poured somthing in my tank I don't thing thats possible because I drove the truck for a couple hrs be for I filled up on thursday and within a 1hr or so It was acting up.


can the truck contaminate the fuel?


anyone had this problem before?


Fuel looks kinda cloudy milky

Just out of curiosity, are you running stock or have you incorporated a few modes to you vehicle? Unable to answer you question since under the hood of one of these new vehicles is like a trip to Mars for me but I don't think the truck would have anything to do with fuel contamination.

the truck is 100 o/o stock with 17000 miles on it


is it possible to get antifreeze in the fuel?

Get a sample of the fuel, don't let the dealer give it too u.

Did u get fuel from same place or did the dealer refill after cleaning and their fuel caused problems the second time?


I would have kept the fuel filter that they changed the first time, it could be tested to see if the fuel was the problem.


My buddy got some BAD fuel, dealer towed and had to use air pressure to back flush the lines from the sludge that plugged everything up, tank was dropped and flushed out.

after they drain the fuel they put 6 gallons in and I went to the same gas station they did they only drain the tank they didn't flush it they said it should be okhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley11.gif
