I was wondering when you guys strap your front end down do you strap it as tight as you can or do you just make it snug so that you can still turn the wheel ok? Or am I not seeing this the right way.

Fairly tight, not as tight as you can get it as I have seen guys bust straps. I usually try to get the truck strait with the sled if possible a couple trucks ahead and strap it then, to eliminate much turning.

I use to strap but now I have sleeves and a centerlink because the straps aren't all that great:eek:

Be careful when strapping. I actually bent the rear cross member from tyeing it too tight.

I didn't lower the bars, and I've pulled all last year with just strapping, but this year with the extra power the straps couldn't take it and the left side broke, and you see what happend after the strap broke

Strapping isn't a good idea if you are making good power. Larry's truck exploded the 4x4 axle collar and ripped the rear driveshaft out of the truck because of the straps. Didn't help me at all and didn't enjoy fixing the aftermath. Get at the braces and highperformance parts that you can and let her eat. There is no true cure but no movement equals broken ****!
