First what did you do inside the tranny.....

Without knowing what kind of work you were doing it makes it hard to help you.....

Input or turbine speed sensor disconected. One is on top of the bell housing other is on top of main case.

Glad it's a no brainer Mac, took you 24 hours to find someone to decode that. Your Holy Grail sure as hell didn't do it. OK I know, you knew it a along but you were too busy polishing the African Queen. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif

Yup

As I was out of town and there was no Holy Grail in the Motel end table where I were staying at either, moms.<wink>

Northern New England is getting very Colorful this time of year makes for a nice Back Ground for the African Queen.

I was going to start a Topic but I know how much you dislike my speeding content postings.

I was messing with this Furd Super Dookey coming home this morning.I was tooling along at 90 MPH and he's coming and closing. I had none of that and kept him at a distance, blasting smoke signals.

Nonetheless I let him pass to see if it were a Diesel. Weren't stinking cat Unleaded burner. <puke>

Any hoo I tailed him as I knew that the next highway inter change would yield me a uphill EGT pinned hill climb to blow his doors in where a Diesel really shines with torque.

Well there was more than anticipated traffic at the Official terrorist road block check, similar to the Mexican checks in San Diego . So I had to jump om the binders as I was just done laying a monster cloud and turbo was well spooled,so I sucked in behind.

He was peeking in the mirror as we rolled up and when he was talking to the border patrol. They both were looking back at my truck and talking.

I wonder what they were saying?

BLAH BLAH BLAH as uasual. If someone here farts out of the wrong cheek you are on them like fly on (you know) but you were on vacation with this. Then you post " it's a no brainer" then it took you 24 hours to pull it out of your brain cause your outdated book didn't tell you. I threw your outdated book away long ago. Fess up, who did you call? DIPPER is my first guess.

You bought a new book. Actually the post you put up looked like it came right out of Autotap. My problem with you ( just one, there are many) is you came in a day late with the no brainer post which was lame considering your track record with the Ally. The no brainer part is insulting to the person with the problem. Why didn't you just post the code as you copied to help out? Was that aimed at me? Your feelings toward me should never interfere with the members on this board. I monitor the Ally subject and watch for answers. If another member has answered the question I stay out of it. You seem to want the last word and you are insulting. I don't like you at all. Your sig says you are a member first, well I call BS on that. You do a good job as a moderator but your approach to answering posts leaves a lot to be desired. You try and push your weight around. I can't use it.

Mike honestly ,you should get over yourself. Why do you think every thing I post is directed at you ?

Datsbad bad called himself an idiot ,I wanted him to know the info is readily available and quite easily obtained.

I hope that Nick when he switches to Vbulletin has a Ignore feature and you put it to good use as I will.

If I really had the cohonas which I DO and Nick could find a new mod quickly I would tell you how I really feel and split!!

If you can't play nice we are going to have to separate you two.

Oh wait, one is in Connecticut and the other in Socal. Hmmmm.

I'm sensing some pent up frustrations here. Maybe what you both need is a California King and a do not disturb sign. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/hihi.gif

You are correct it is a shame that people can not keep their ego in check. I meant no disrespect with the No brainier comment if you felt that.

If you have the DTC the reading can be had at AutoTaps website. I have a Tech II.

What I wont do is apologize for my comments later in the thread I meant what I said ,and then some.

Glad your truck is up and cruising.Better luck in your next thread!

Mac you and Mike get along about as good as two old lady's fight'n. I've know Mike for 30 + years and he is alittle short fused and I've know you for a couple years on the boards and your the same. I'm willing to bet both of you are more alike than different! Both of you believe what you believe and don't hold it back but, it takes two to get it going. I know cause I do it too sometimes. Maybe you two can agree to disagree and stay in neutral corners. If I could get the two of you in the bar for a night you would probably become best Buddy's by the end of the night. Probably a long night knowing what I know about your nights in the bar and his!

Your 100% correct.

I was going to just let it go but I just want it to be clear.

As far as Mike L I don't dislike him I don't even know him to pass that judgment. As fas as his knowledge and expertise in the Allison he certainly knows more than me and why he believes I'm trying to hurt his reputation is beyond me and I think it's the root of the animosity he has toward me.

I have and do recommend people to contact him if they need assistance in rebuild and Performance upgrades, believe it.

Perhaps we got off to a bumpy start on the Page I dunno.

I only have a few issues with Mike.

One, I just think he shouldn't bring things out he's been told in confidence by others. Not that I really have anything to hide but I don't like being poked or prodded.

Two, I don't like the constant banter toward the Allison company as if their retards or something. The comparison to stock verses Performance is apples to oranges.

Allison transmission is a HD workhorse transmission and well engineered for it's purpose. Allison could careless if it wont hold more then the application they designed it for. Can things be done in stock trim to improve on,perhaps but it is moot to them. Just like GM has no interest in getting as much #2 HP out of the Duramax we are.

Third, He comes off rough,I don't care long as it don't involve me and actually find it amusing! http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif

All in all I wish he would just relax and realize I am not under minding him that isn't my itentions and have respect for his Knowledge.

It will all work out!

Mac
