The company I work for recieved two 08 PSD in march. Not satified with the truck at all. The 08 PSD i drove has Broke down on me 3 times with in 3k. truck has 6k on it. So we purchased an 07 Crew Cab 4x2 2500 HD classic. I hope it performs well. The Front suspension worries me a lil bit though.

Good move from the Ford :D . Dont worry about your front suspension. You company do serious off roading?

Smart move, and i used to be a Ford guy too. Ford still builds a good 1/2 ton truck but there diesels are going down the tube.

if you keep the truck stock tire wise then the front suspension will be fine it is when you get up to the larger tires and do alot of offroading the company i work for we haven't had to replace any of the front suspension yet in any of our new trucks and they are always loaded down with material they work great

I'll do you one better. I've never replace a steering or suspension component on any of my '99 or newers ever, with the exception of shocks and an occasional wheel bearing (usually at higher mileage 150k plus).

i've got 232,000 miles on my pickup and i farm with it so it doesn't get the easiest treatment but im not hard on it on purpose and i have done nothing with the front end at all except and idler arm. It gets greased at every oil change... and the ride it soooo much better than a solid front axle

Our Miles are 95% paved road miles. It will be monday before Get to try it out. It's getting the big mirrors , spray-in liner, fifth wheel, and trailer brakes done right now. By the way the chevy dealer gave us such a good deal we traded both of the 08 PSD. But we refuse to trade in the 03 7.3 PSD. That truck never fails. The trucks never leave the shop with out a minimum of 6k behind it.

You're a bit more fortunate than me. I've ruined 2 sets of tires cause of the front end, replaced ball joints, idler, idler mount, pitman arm,one wheel bearing, ect  .

These are the best pickups :D but the front end could use a bit more strength. I do off-road hard and run 33"s,as well as sledpull and tow very heavy.
