any one that is running a kenwood indash screen having the problem of it not spitting out the CD when you hit the eject button also mine will some times it acts like it has to warm up it will turn off turn on then turn off again then turn on but take some time to come up this happens every once in awhile anyone else having this problem

Mine never goes on and off but the CD eject just started happening recently.

I have had mine not eject a cd once in a while...just turn it off then back on...also try cleaning it with a q tip

well i had talked to the guys i bought it from and they are just now telling me that they have had a few come in with this problem and that they had to replace the internal mechanism that ejects the CD the only problem i have right now is that the CD that is stuck in there is one of my burned DVD and i don't want to take the chance with sending it in if i can't get that CD out

It only happened once on mine.

They won't do anything, and if they do give you crap, tell them a backup. Nothing they can/will do anyway.

All you need to do is when the CD is jammed get a key and try to GENTLY push the CD back in toward the back of the dash, NOT DOWN. I had to do this, it took a couple of minutes but it fed it back in then I was able to get it to eject. The problem for me was that it got jammed in eject mode making the rest of the system stall.

that is what i was doing before but now it won't come out at all i have been trying for the past 3 days to get it out so i guess i will just send it in with the dvd in there and hope for the best has anyone had any problems with the new alpine i am thinking of selling it and getting that one
