Having problems with my climate control hot cold slid bars, sometimes when I slide both bars up to hot for awhile then back to cold the passanger side will stay hot even though the slide bar is on cold. If I shut the truck off then start it back up the passenger will blow cold air. It always does it when I cant take the truck back to the dealer right away http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/banghead.gif only does it once in awhile, just seeing if anybody has had this happen to them and if so what was wrong, any help would be greatful. btw its a 2004 Duramax 4X4

how long before it changes??? Or doesnt it, it just stays the one way??
If it gradually changes over id suspect its just blowing out the air...if not then id guess that somehwere along the line a vent or thermostat?? isnt properly working all the time....hope it makes some sense..
I know sometimes w/my ac when i shut it off, it blows some of the coldest air ever for like the next min or two, then it goes to whatever iput the setting on...-Adam

Ya it will stay hot even though the slide bar is on cold untill the truck is shut off, then it will work right when the truck is started back up for up to a week. Edited by: 96vette
