I am getting a new stock exhaust put on my 91 silverado today from a local place. Their price is 130.00 for the muffler back and it is the same 2 pipe from the muffler system that was on it already. All the other local chain muffler shops could not do it. They said there was no system available for a 6.2 diesel and if they had to make one it would be more than a high performance aftermarket. The only aftermarket system that is available for it is a banks for 500.00. It is strange how this place could get a system for it.

That sounds like enough reason to find a place that can bend it for less than that. Local shops should be able to beat an aftermarket kit. Edited by: quantum mechanic

I got the exhaust put on yesterday. It is a 3" pipe that goes into the muffler and has the two 2 1/4" pipes to the back. They did a nice job.
