Just returned from a long weekend on the road . THIS MORNING as we were pulling on to the interstate my truck quit and would no start again!after lifting the hood and looking around i noticed that the clamp on the air cleaner duct must have come loose and the air cleaner element fell off now this is where its gets good! when i bought the truck it had a k+n filter assy installed on it.there was a rag stuffed down beside the element for checking oil thi damm thing got sucked into the turbo taking the air flow sensor with it! i removed all this junk and the truck started and seemed to run okay until i got into it and it sounded like a fire truck . i pulled over and removed the intake duct and seen the damage to the vanes . my question is where can i get replacement parts for this and where did the peices go? does driving it make matters worse?

I would say Dont drive it! you most likely sucked that sh^t into the motor. Im not sure where it exactly would go But, Im sure the pieces went through the heads and into the cylinder. Your turbo or impeller is junk now but, not sure about the mill.

The pieces may be in your intercooler. I would check there first before panicking about engine damage. I am sure that the the turbo air first goes to the intercooler. At any rate the turbo is toast and will have to be rebuilt or replaced. The intercooler should be taken out and cleaned thorouhly. The MAF sensor has been wiped out as well.

Id check the intercooler first, hope the pieces are there. If damage is done its done, if the pieces got into the pistons its there, might as well run r until she blows, dmagae is done now. Check the intercooler hope they are there, if not then run it.
