hey guys my evo egt's are showing 0. i unplugged waited, and checked thermo cable it look fine, plugged back up still no egt's. has the thermocoupler gone bad or moreless the whole cable?? any suggestions thanks i already did a search. how about name an numbers for someone at edge. thanks again.:saluteusa: :smoke2: :chevy:

Probably your cable. I've had 2 go bad. Edge has replaced pyro cable both times. Third one has been on for about 1 wk. Hope this one lasts. Not the only one on here that has had problems with pyro. Most likely Edge is not in today. You'll have to give them a call tomorrow.

I had a problem like this a while ago and came to find out there was too much tensnion on the plug that goes into the EVO box. I added a little slack and made sure it was all the way in and locked and my EGT display went back to normal. It is the pin on the right hand side on the bottom of the monitor. so if there is tension on the wire, it will not make good contact. Hope that helps.

One way to make sure is to pull it out of the holder and then turn on your truck to make sure the EGT starts to work, if it does, then it is just that plug. Do not unplug it while your truck is running.
