To anyone that can help. I am installing a bypass filter on my trucks Allison and need the thread size and diameter for a sandwhich adapter.


It is not 3/4 by 16, suspect it is M18 x 1.5 but not sure. If anyone knows please let me know.

I just came across your post. It is 18 x 1.5mm. I was going to do the same thing w/my bypass filter, but instead tapped in at the line pressure fitting right next to the filter. I returned the oil through the driver's side dipstick hole, which has a plastic plug. I drilled and tapped the plug. If you do connect at the line pressure tap, make sure you use a pressure regulator ahead of the filter.
