I like the stock paper. If I change I'll go with the Big Honkin Air Filter (BHAF). I put a K&N in my 04.5 HO and I haven't seen a change in fuel mileage, but I did notice a little change in acceleration...of course I also upgraded exhaust at the same time so maybe the combination made the difference. captainmal 10-10-2004, 10:27 AM I used a K & N on my '01 Duramax. Thought it was a pain in the ..... My Cummins/Dodge has 60,000 miles on it WITH THE ORIGINAL AIR FILTER. Couple of times I took it out and shook off the bugs. The air intake is perfectly clean, not a hint of dust. Bought another filter from Gino's. Been carrying it around waiting for some kind of failure sign. Still waiting. | ||
