Ok has anyone had a wheel come off goin down the road? I almost did with my eagle rims, the lugnuts had backed off and my tire just about came off. It broke a stud on my back hub. I've heard that aluminum wheels do this with the weather. Heard they get hot and expand and stuff. But I have seen a lot of aluminum wheels on trucks everywhere. Would steel be better? I also have swampers on my truck ands they vibrate the **** outta it, maybe that is what did it.

Aluminum rims have nothing to do with it but, if these wheels were new maybe the nuts are not the proper ones & did you have the nuts retorqued after you originally installed them.
Or if the wheels were used & maybe had a bit of corrosion on the back side or some crap between the wheel & the hub this will affect the wheels from staying tight on the hub.
Incorrect nuts or torque, also make sure you have the factory rotor retaining clips off of all 4 rotors(yanno the little springs that the factory uses to hold the rotor to the hub as it goes done the assy line...) those can cause issues with a uneven load on the hub/rotor assy due the the fact that it is a uneven surface....
