where is best to get EFILive? & should I?



ivebeen reading here for a long time but not posting.


i have other programmers i use for, daily and tow.
I plan to keep then for times i preferr them, but i want more power for the times i just like to play.

info: LB7 with suncoast 5 and ats copilot. [i still need/want a trans. bracket]

questions;

should i get efi live?

who/where from?

who has the best tune? [highest power/best drag]

Guy is Socal Diesel in the vendors section!

550 is for old hardware and 750 should be new hardware.

No matter who you buy from on here you should pay about the same and get great service!!!!

if you are looking to buy EFILive with a race tune i think McRat is the only one who sells EFILive with a big power tune.

V2 is the way to go, and it is the same price no matter where you buy it from. Yes pat does give you a big tune included with your purchase, and Guy gives you a small one, but i think Guy's is ment more as a comparison tune, to give you an idea of some of the things you can change to make power/fuel economy, and to encourage you to learn for yourself. Both are great vendors, there is also Crank It Up Diesel as well, and Kyle is as upstanding a guy as anyone else, so the choice is yours, one thing is for sure though, "YOUR EITHER USING IT, OR CHASING SOMEBODY WHO IS, LOL. Sorry just had to throw that in there.

Nothing I can do for pricing. I think EFILive is worth alot more than $749, but I build a race tune and throw it in for free to sweeten the deal and give you something to build on.

Guy Tripp is excellent, and a good friend of mine. It doesn't hurt my feeling one iota if you buy from Guy. I recommend him to many folk for not only EFILive, but other hipo Dmax goodies as well.

EFILive is the best tool in my toolbox, but it is not the most expensive.

Sorry for my ignorance and all the Questions but what exactly is EFI live? Is it a programmer? How do you download it?
Is it available for the 07 LBZ?
Can you "stack" EFI live with another programmer?

EFILive is a ECM/TCM custom tuning and datalogging system that works in conjunction with a Windows computer. It is not a "tune" it is a tool for making them. 07 Dmaxes have ECM support.

You cannot stack ECM tuning, but you can stack a harness box with an ECM tune.

Here I go again, asking more stupid questions:
Can you send me a pic of this EFI live Kit? A brochure?
How do you get the program into the truck?
When you say an in line box in conjuction with EFI to stack, do you mean like a Banks 6gun set-up?
I'm real interested I just want to understand what I'm buying and be comfortable with installing and setting it up!
