Is the correct way to set TDC offset manually:

Move the pump to ~-1.90* tighten, key on, app to floor 30 sec, key off, key on, start?

I've been running 8.0* to the driverside with stock tdc offset.

Is 8.0* too much?Edited by: quantum mechanic

I posted this in Faqs what works on OBD II< might work on OBDI, I don't know, try it and let us know

My personal scantool doesn't indicate TDC offset but does read des/act timing. I'll try it at ~2* adv and see if my numbers change.

I would not try it using SWAG method, you really need a bi-directional scan tool to do it right, find somebody local with MT2500, GMCTD is close relatively, he might know somebody that can do it correctly for you.

IIRC the key on engine off pedal to the floor will only work on OBD II. -2.0 TDC might turn on the SES light too for OBD I.
