Well I just finished making my own 4" cat-back exhaust. I have to say I love the new sound. I have a friend that was able to get me some 4" mandrel bent aluminized tubing cheap so I just welded some up. I have about $75 and 3 hours of my time in it. I cant believe its still that quiet I am thinking of doing the rest of it in 4" and lose the cat. What do you guys think? I average about 4k miles a month city/highway but mostly highway. Do you guy think it will be anoingly loud?

Not to me.:D You'll hear the turbo more, too. Don't forget to get a finger stick to avoid throwing codes if you remove the cat.
By the way, good job!;)

It won't be loud at all, did you hear mine at the last GTG that you went to? The turbo kills a lot of the sound, you will be fine getting rid of the cat.

Thanks guys I think I will try losing the cat maybe with just a 3.5" delete pipe first then if I llike it I can do the whole thing. I will try and get some pics of my now muddy exhaust up, it has been raining alot here. I painted it black and the 5x18" magnaflow tip comes out at a 90 deg angle just behind the rear tire.
