I thought all of the newer bose systems already have a sub in the console?

Sometimes you need more! I would like to do the same but dont know how either.

Yeah, I know how that is. If it's got a sub, you can grab your high input for your amp right off of the wires going to the sub. You'll probably want to hook up both the left and right channel wires, unless your amp is mono, to the 2 wires to the sub.
For your remote on, you can just put it on an ignition on circuit. If you don't wanna have it on whenever the ignition is on, there may be a wire that turns on the bose sub that I don't know about, or you can look around the net. I'm pretty sure someone makes a box (it might be an actual crossover) that can detect a signal and give you a remote lead.

Yes there is a sub in the center console. It is at the front.

Interesting...
Here was my question to JP Customs (certified dealer for PAC)

Hi,
I just purchased a new body style 07 Silverado HD2500 LTZ that has the Bose
speaker system with a powered Sub in the center console (so I'm told). I
would like to keep the stock look unless there is a dash kit as nice as the
stock LTZ trim.
Is this part you have listed (AOEM-G1416 GM-07 ADD AN AMP) what is needed to
add an amp to the stock head unit? What about the sub and it's separate amp?
Can this be bumped up a bit?
I would think the Bose speakers are pretty good, just a bit under powered is
all.
Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave

Here was their answer...

Hello, yes the AOEM-GM1416 is just what you need to add an amp/sub to your factory system. All you would need to do is mount the amp and run a sub. The Bose speakers are just paper, but are really efficient for the amp in the vehicle, so it sounds really good. If you put an aftermarket amp to power the factory speakers, you'll definitely want to come back later and change out the speakers because they won't be able to handle the increased power.
But for starters, we recommend trying the AOEM-GM1416 and add the sub. This may get you the low end that you're looking for that the factory system lacks.

Feel free to give us a call if you have any additional questions.

I wonder if it's because of the nav. I don't see how that would effect it being down stream???
This is the exact intent of the unit it seems.
Confused...

I dont see why that PAC adapter wouldnt work.....

amp is turned on with a data signal.

I dunno they said use the pac tunk-loc which is just a line converter\relay

Ill prob use a line converter and just buy an amp that automatically turns on with line signal instead of remote

Yes your right about the nav ... They said to use the adaptor until i said i had bose and navi once i said that tey reccomended just grabbing a signal from the factory subwoofer

Pac: aoem-gm1614 gives you a remote and 4ch full range rca outputs and its completly plug in to the factory radio harness.... Im sure this is the easiest way to go

yeah you don't need any adapter. Almost any amp has full range ins for speaker level inputs. You'll be fine considering the sub signal is already filtered for only lows.

JPR5690,
Is this what you ended up doing? They must have changed their tune;)
Let us know how it worked out for you.
Thx,
