Just installed the Juice\attitude. Real easy to do. Truck in power level 2 runs awesome!! Haven't done the EGT sensor yet, but I will this weekend. Real happy with the quality and ease of install!! Edited by: vegasdude

Hope yours works better than mine. After 2 months, mine started causing no starts and I had to pull it off. I havn't got around to sending it back yet. It doesn't help to wait the 30 seconds like they said. I had to take it off to get to start back up. 4.81 version

Mine broke as well. Dont use it unless you hook up the egt probe.

Egts in my truck would go above red in 3.5 seconds.

And edge told me from there mouth that even level 1 would eventually burn the tranny up.

But it was cool when it worked........

Dude- Answer in NO!

Some people seem to have nothing positive to say about anythinghttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley13.gif.

Remember, you're tranny will blow up eventually even without a power mod. 20k or 200k, who knows. Just drive your truck and if there is a problem, fix it. Otherwise, ENJOY

mine has been on for a couple of months. hook your probe up and run on level 4, tow with level two. no problems, even towing 8500 plus on level two egt's went no higher than around 1260. i am very satisfied so far. wil

My Juice/Attitude [125 HP max version] went on my 01 Max 1 year ago. It has been great. Smooth running, adjustable, reliable. Finally upgraded to Transgo/new converter last month. If I had to do it all over again I would just have added fuel filteration, Juice, [ include EGTs and stuff], synthetics, tranny upgrade immediately. Do it right and it simply takes your Max to a new level.

I agree with GRMax. I too put mine on about a year ago and love it. It is pretty much in level 2 when i tow and level 4 or 5 on an everyday basis. I also noticed a big difference when i put the Transyand fluid in. That is when i went to all synthetics. The only thing I am waiting on is my injectors to go out. So far, I have 62,000 miles on it and no problems. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif

Well.........

The truth is the truth painful or not. And some people here cant handle the truth. Especially when you talk about air cleaners.

Had my juice on now since January. Put about 20.000 miles on with it.
Hard miles at that. Great to have a little extra power to get thru
mudholes or sandy fields.

When towing I put it on level 2 so as to not burn things up.

dutch, what are your EGT's when you are towing in level 2 and how big is your trailer?

dutch

um,... no gauges. That's why I keep it on level 2 when towing. Trailer
size? any thing from a little 16ft bumper pull with 2 Z-track mowers
(kids mow lawns) on it to a 24 ft gooseneck with 25.000lbs or more on
it.

Loaded a Cat Challenger that weighted 27000 lbs once and hauled it 15 miles to our shop.

Those bags are full of wheat seed and wheigh anywhere from 1900 lbs to
2700 lbs. There's 12 of them on there. This picture was before I got
the juice but have done that same thing several times this fall with
the juice. I just have to take it easy.

Dutch, I would say that what you are towing qualifies as a real load!!!!!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley32.gif

Had a friend of mine just install the EGT probe, via the Hoot method. Man, exhaust temp looks like a tach!!! I see that when boost goes up the exhaust temp goes up and when boost goes down then the exhaust temps go down. I ran at level one at 80 mph and the temps were at 650 or so, not too bad.........I am going to tow on level 2 on sunday, so I will see how the temps do then................ Edited by: vegasdude

vegasdude,

Which version do you have? If it's a new unit you should be OK as the no start issues were supposedly addressed. I installed my Juice Module in February and just sent it back for a no start I had this morning. Their customer service is great and they are sending me a completely new unit. Which ever version that will be ???

This is the first I have run across this no start issue with the juice. Back in April I had an incident where my truck would not start until I primed the fuel lines. It ran great for about 5 months then it just happened again. I primed the fuel line again and it started. Since then it has happened 4 more times and I was guessing it was the fuel injectors. Now I have an appointment for my truck at the dealership on Monday. I tried to start my truck just a couple days ago and it happened again. So, I decided to disconnect the Juice at that time and try to start it thinking it would throw an error code in the computer so the dealership would see it on Monday. But when I disconnected the connections under the hood, there were 2 connector pins that were completely corroded. I wire brushed the corrosion off and applied a little more dielectric grease and plugged it back in and the truck started right up. I am curious if all these no starts had to deal with this corrosion. I am still going to bring the truck in for a checkup, IN HOPES MY INJECTORS ARE BAD, just to get new ones in before I make this trip through Canada all the way down to California in November.

Well I towed my trailer, a 36 foot tahoe transport and at 65 mph in tow haul mode and out of overdrive, my EGT's were just over 1100. Haven't pulled a real good hill yet but I will in about 2 weeks or so............Level two on the juice makes a big difference towing this thing............!!! I have version 4.73.........don't know if that is the latest or not!!Edited by: vegasdude
