My 2002 is having headlight, DRL, issues. I need your help with all these issues if you know the fixes. Here is what has happened...

My right DRL socket burnt up about a month ago after blowing out the DRL bulb every few months. I decided the hell with DRLs and just pulled the relay to cut them off and go on with life. Is this a problem to have pulled the relay or is it related to the below problem?

I also have to replace a burnt out passenger headlamp about every 4-6 months, while the drivers side headlamp is a few years old. Well this time when I replaced the passenger headlamp, both my high beams came on very dim, the new passenger headlamp was at about quarter brightness, and the left headlamp was at full brightness. What the heck is going on?

thanks for the help!

sounds like a broken ground, I have replaced both sockets to my DRL lights because of replacing bulbs and the contacts become weak, dealer supplied them and all I had to do was splice them in. Haven't had any more issues. Replaced the relay and pull the bulbs if you feel like messing with them

:driver: I priced a drl socket a couple of years ago and the stealer told me $38.00. After I picked myself up off of the floor I got out of there!!!

Got two from a salvage yard for $5.00 apiece.

And the stealers wonder why we don't go back to them unless we absolutely have to.

I Paid 12.50 each for mine, that included the gell butt splices. Replaced both of them. The ground is part of the harness. Not sure if it goes back to frame ground or not
