My buddy just bought a used 03 Duramax and it has some sort of loader in the glovebox that says PPE Tech IV on it and the truck has a 3 position toggle under the dash. The thing is , we dont know anything about it . How many HP , any good , hard on the tranny?? I was sure i could find help on this site ! Anyone know about this brand chip?

The claims from their programmers far outweigh the real numbers, so I have been told. Talk to PeanutGrwr.. I think he has one..

The Tech IV was produced for PPE by TTS. It is a little different than our programs but basically our Economy, Tow, Race switchable program. We rate our product at the rear tire they rate the units by engine Hp. The Economy program will be the middle position if it has a toggle switch, if it's a rotoray switch the Economy will be thefurthest counterclockwise.

Here, here. sdaver hit it right on the head. But he forgot, over priced. If it came with the truck, good deal. Hopefully it has the Trans Go and a good T/C as well. It will need it. The tech IV stacks very well with the hot juice if it has the tranny upgrades. Lots of good power. Through a PowerShot propane kit in and a healthy shot of N2O, and hold on. Beastville
