I tried to search for this and I couldn't find much. I am pretty confident that I will be purchasing a set of air bags from Tom Frederico. I have always wanted to have some on board air for when we hit haying season. there have been many times air is nice and once we even resorted to a gas generator in the box with a 10 gallon compressor hooked to it. (We were using a chain baler that had an air bag that had a slow leak in it)

Anyways, since I want to use my air for more then just the bags, I was thinking about going with an Viair compressor. Something like a 450 or a 480 and about a 2.5 gallon tank.

It would be nice to have this hooked to the bags and a nice cab control to go along with it. I have looked around and I think I can finally find a dual air pressure gauge. But how do they inflate/deflate from in the cab? Is there anywhere to get the hardware without compressor and extra junk from companies like AirLift?

If this becomes a huge hassle, I'll just make sure I have a air supply close to my bag fills and I will just do it manually all the time. Thanks!

No one has done this on their own?

what about using 2 nitrous soleniods. put one between the compressor and the bags and a second one between the bags and the first on a tee. when you cycle the first one air will flow from the tank to the bags filling them. when you cycle the second air will flow out of the bags. then all you need is a double pole switch with a netural position in the middle up in the cab.

I would reccomend going with a york air set up as opposed to a vivar compressor..better duty cycle and more air....

Rockman:

We can set you up with the just the gauges, the electrical harness, and twin bag controller minus the compressor and the tank. Just give us a call. :)

Problem solved. :)
