hey guys, there is a set of 4.10 gears for sale and i was thinking of getting it for my truck. how do you think it will run with 35's? will it be close to stock or should i put the 3.73's?

4.10's didn't make a huge difference in the way my truck ran.

ya i wouldn't worry about regearing for 35's if you are going to go larger then i would but these trucks have plenty of power even stock to turn 35 easy

so putting the 4.10's would do nothing then ? not even a little?

Just leave the 3:73 in with the 35s. I read/heard that if you go 37s then 4:10 would be a good ideal.

Yeah, they help "a little".Just not enough to justify the expense and hassle of changing gears. It's a lot of work if you ask me.Especially the front diff.If you are going to change them,I would go with a 4.56 instead.

i thought about regearing but changed my mind. i may just buy an aftermarket brake system and buy some fabtech dirtlogic 2.0 shocks. have you thought about calibrating the speedo? i still want to find out if it would be worth it or not
