My dealer tells me that the sockets are corroded...I have 36310 miles on the truck...they want $288 to replace and wire...the ***** of it is they replaced two of them about 2 months ago...they wont help...any suggestions?

We put grease in the sockets to keep them from corroding.

mine are full if grease as well but commercial plowing has no mercy on these trucks, even the best grease doesnt seem to stop the ice,water and salt from getting in there.

or you could just go to recon lights and get clear lights with LEDs for around 100 the sockets seem to work much better on the after market than the ones from factory just my 2 cents

man if its that close to 36000 they should cover it.
that truck is less than 2 years old.
I've had mine for 15 months and it only has 6700 miles.
I only use it to pull our fifth wheel. I guess my warranty will run out of time not miles.......
