Went to the dealers to get some touch-up, gave them my VIN, and they told me Olympic White is my color. When I bought the truck, the sticker and the '04 brochure said it was Summit White. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley3.gif Funny thing is, when I went to the local GM parts distributorship to clarify the confusion, they also told me Olympic White! Olympic. I had the same issue. Its the same paint code. Different name.

Same thing happen to me. Went in to get Summit White and the dealer gave me Olympic White. I guess that the VIN # is the key info needed to get a correct color match.

That's easy..............


GMC is called Summit.......


Chevy is calling it Olympic.......


Just like my color is FIRE RED = GMC


Victory Red = Chevy..........

Thank you all! What a relief. I went out and purposely purchased these micro brushes. I envisioned getting the Olympic on the say-so of the parts guy at the dealer, dabbing a little on this small spot and realizing some Jack A** had screwed up and given me the wrong color. Guess they were right after all. I'll pick up some on Monday. Thank you again!
