Turbo bark...and bad. Really like the edge otherwise but am really thinkin that the turbo bark is gonna kill my turbo if left unchecked. Has anybody resolved this issue because I am making no head way. Any help greatly appreciated!

Yeah, I have been dealing with that too on a couple LLY's. Edge tells me that it is normal, I call it BS. I ran a Van Aaken in the same truck with no bark. I ran with the EGR disconnected w/Juice and the bark also went away, but it is a CA truck so I had to plug it back in to avoid SES. The truck belongs to the owner of our dealership. He doesn't like SES.

Some thoughts.


It happens even on level zero.


The beta was far worse than the production release.


If you go Max Death Cloud, no defuel, level 3, it becomes less common.

I have defuel on all locked shifts set on and I have never had a turbo bark yet.

It apparently doesn't happen on all trucks. In my case, all 3 boxes I tried had it to some extent.


I'm sure Edge will resolve it, and I know they are aware of it. Give it some time.


I did let them know during testing that it was happening on my truck.

Max Payne...it may be normal for their unit but I know one thing for sure....It will grenade turbos sooner or later! I call BS as well. They will get it fixed though...their other products have needed some ironing as well and they have all turned out great, at least in my experience with them.
