I have a 99 Dodge and i was wondering if there was a simple way to make it smoke more on my old12 valve all it took was some minor pump adjustments is there an easy way with the 24 valve.


Also has any one done a mirror conversion ( put the new towing mirrors on) I have seen my body style with them before, what does it take to put them on mine

Good question -- I have a 2004 with an EZ on level 1 (stock turbo). When I turn my PMCR up to 7-1, I get black smoke in the high rpm/boost range. When I later upgrade to twins and get more air to the fuel, will I still get the smoke, or will it clear up with the twins?

My 04.5 cleans up totally when under boost with twins at 550+hp and egt's under 1250* all the time. BTW without a turbo upgrade you usually dont get anymore power past level 4 or 5 on the older TST boxes.


A drag comp box on a 2nd gen 24v will make a bunch of smoke. If that's not enough try some big injectors. Your turbo will hate you and the egt's will skyrocket but smoke you will have. Dont forget a fuel pressure gauge cuz it will drop to 0 with the stock lift pump and this combo.
