its diesel-engine Dodge Ram pickups from Saltillo to St. Louis in a
move that could create new U.S. factory jobs, union officials say.

Always felt right at home spilling tacos on the front seat.
Thanks for the info. Hoot. Good to hear the Cummins/Ram has come back home where it belongs. I am proud and thankful to be an American and buy American when I can. Sounds like more good news for America.

Jobs should have never been in Mexico to begin with! Way to go, Dodge! Bring those jobs back where they belong.
On a side note, a buddy of mine just came back from Oregon in his '04 Hemi. A trip cross country and 8 mpg later, he went straight to the dealer and got a new Cummins. I was in my Duramax, and he jabbed, "Boy, is that thing loud!"

Yea all the brand's V8's seem to be gas guzzlers. Doesn't make a loto f
sense. You would think they would have improved at least 5 mpg by now.
I would like to see V8's regularly getting upper teens to the
twenties by now.

Just did a Michigan delivery yesterday. Got 8.9mpg heading West into the headwinds. That might be the worst fuel mileage ever for my Cummins in the East to Mid-West. 12ft.2in. box but only 36ft. long. Man the wind resistance is a big issue. I've towed longer and heavier trailers with just a little angle in the front and got 11mpg into stronger headwinds. One thing about this trailer. They had a million dollar propane generator built into the front. Made the tongue weight close to 1,900 lbs. Towed like a dream.
You should have seen the back of their 3/4 ton GMC when they hooked it on at delivery. Even after I put their new 1,000 lb. weight distribution bars on for them the back of that truck looked liked an old swayback horse.
Glad I didn't have that guys gasser.
