Ok, so i just replaced my brakes and rotors all the way around about 2 months ago. I put top grade Wagner pads and rotors all around. Brakes work good, and have not made ANY noise untill this past friday. Slower speeds are the worst, but you can hear it every time you apply the brakes! Its really starting to get old and pissing me off!!:mad: :mad: :mad: Anyone have any ideas? The brakes look fine, I've had the wheels off and blew everything out really good, nothing seems to help!

Maybe the Parking brake? Or did anything "different" happen before the noise appeared? I'm just guessing but maybe something like a heat shield is misaligned? Is it coming from the front or the back? Luke

Did you use the grease stuff for these type of breakes? You know how they just kinda float where they sit? Well if you go to AutoZone or Kragen, they normally have the little pakets of grease that go on the contact points between the pads, the caliper and the slots they sit in. Give it a try...

Its not the parking brake, b/c it doesnt do it ALL the time, only when the brakes are applied. It sounds to me that its comming from the front. I used sill glide and pad grease. I have no clue, i'm going to rip it apart AGAIN later this week, and maybe try some new pads. Just alot of $$ just to "try" and see if it fix's it.

Brake squeal normally comes from the pads moving and causing the nosie, did you "glue" the pads to the calipers with a disk brake quite type product??

if you have some tools around the house you can do a simple trick that may fix it, first take the pads off the truck then ground the edges of the pads with some sort of sander. try and make the edges of the pads round, this will prevent the edges from hitting the pad first which is typically what causes the squeel.
