HAS ANYONE TRIED STACKING THE BANKS SYSTEM AND IF SO WHAT WORKS.IS THIS A TRIAL AND ERROR THING OR IS THERE A WAY TO KNOW IF IT WILL WORK AHEAD OF TIME. ONCE THE TRANNY GETS DONE I WANT MORE POWER AND WOULD RATHER STACK THEN BUY THE TTS EXTREME AT THIS POINT.

Uh, well, maybe. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley18.gif I've played with sixgun and Predator 120. As warned by others with Pred alone who have limped soon, first real run immediately limped trans, no powerbrake, just nail and go. Did look up in mirror to see the nose of the Dodge hemi just coming through the smoke cloud, though :)

Like anything else, there's no substitute for doing things simple and right in the first place. Trans and one really big box, I guess. Then a 16000cfm turbo and 800gal/sec injectors ? http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif

I am thinking of going with the big quad and trying to stack the lower hp programs with the banks and if it don't work I will still be able to pull banks and run the large quad or go with what ever combo works best. Not sure if the banks gauges can be wired up with out the six gun tuner in the truck since they run directly from the box. I have been hearing that banks was working on a display similiar to the attitude if you can turn all the safety crap off I would be extremly happy with the six-gun, of course I still want more power

bronco cant get pm to send

the reason I am thinking about the large quad was you can still get the lower progams in the downloader and if they do not work I can just run the quad as a stand alone on the 215 setting I have the new version banks with speed loader and I believe the egt defuel is at 1500f which I would probaly exceed when stacking, I made a coupling for the thermocouple that does not put the sensor as far into the manifold lowering egts by about 200 degrees fooling the banks tuner. WHy don't you think I would be able to use speedloader since it only boosts fuel pressure. I agree I would not be able to use the big settings on the quad. I really have no idea how these too tuners would work together. Edited by: bigd

Speedloader doesn't just add rail pressure, it enables the top tune level. I thought egt defuel was raised to 1450 or so; Scotty would know. I too am interested in driving the Banks gauges directly for a couple of reasons. If you want to go really big, then I don't think the 'gun is a practical part of that equation. I would step up to one really big box and call it a day. It's a great tow box, though. If they made the shift-defueling adjustable, and perhaps the also the egt limit, it would perform better on the street.

without speedloader I do not believe there is any added rail pressure, as far as egts go I have heard both 1450 and 1500 have yet to see anything from banks though. their techs do not seem to know much either at least the ones I have talked too, I tried contacting peter t he never bothered to call back, so its kind hard to get any facts.

Version 1 was set at 1350 degrees. Version 2 is 1500 degrees. Rail pressure is raised WITH the speedloader and only on level 6.
