Eric,

I've read on a couple of other posts that spilled fuel will strip the protective coating off the frame. How much exposure does it take to strip it? Recently spilled some fuel under filter http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Angry.gif and then rinsed with simple green and water and haven't checked to see if coating was striped. Is there something that can be used to cover an area to protect it again if it removed it? Thanks for any insight.

I have had a few trucks that had fuel in oil and had fuel from the tie rods to the rear bumper under the truck, I have cleaned them off and didnt notice a big problem.. I think prolonged exposure will cause problems, but I think once its cleaned and surface properly prepared, a good undercoat or some of that bed liner in a can stuff...
