ok, my question is this, I put in the blocker plate, and have the gasket on the side closer to the fire wall. I have been thinking, is there suction on the other side (egr side) as there is no gasket? I have to drive lots of dusty roads, and the last thing I want to do is kill the motor due to a 50 cent blocker plate not sealing and letting dust in the engine through the egr. Any ideas on this?

Thanks. :)

Your motor is under boost 99% of the time so no sucking. It may leak a tiny bit of boost out but nothing coming in IMO.

Ahhhh, so the egr gas enters after the turbo in the intake side, soooooo it relies on exhaust back pressure to force it in, in stock configuration???

Thanks.
