I put 285 BFGs on 2004. I saw some info on this forum stating that I need to divide miles by gallons and then times by 1.7 to an accurate MPG. Is this correct and how was this equation reached.

marcdeluca 10-05-2004, 10:33 AM Nominal diameter for the 245 is 30.4". The 285 is 33", therefore it is 1.085 times larger. Divide miles by gallons, then multiply by 1.085. Edited by: marcdeluca | ||
