Just got a little scoop. Bullydog has already shipped out the powerpup to dealers and should be arriving in 7-10days. TripleDog just got completed today and will be available in 30-45 days. Only tow and performance settings are available. NO EXTREME, yet!

Ppe is no different than any other flash tuner with the exception that they have a nice tune file... Basically you have 2 types of "chips" 1:ones that rewrite the pcm infomation to performance specs 2:ones that get physically installed and just piggyback on the car to manupliate the real signals comming out of the pcm the latter has the advantage of being switchable on the go but needs to be perminantely installed and wired up...furthermore your then relying on the unit to be reliable for your truck to work properly.. When you flash the pcm with option 1, no additional hardware is needed you pluge it in to your obd2 port, select what you wanna change, unplug it .... The computer still has complete controll over the car and its easy to put back to stock the only proplem with the new computers and flashing chips is the dealer can see that you have flashed the tune even if you flash it back to stock before takeing it in...although this seems bad all you gotta say to them is you bought a tuner to changes tire sizes and that shuts them up as they cannot nessiarly see what you actually changed if its flashed back to stock just the fact that you were there

I've heard alot of good things about the PPE never tried it. Probably gona look into it. Exactley how is it diff than other tuners on the mkt?
