Hi,
Yeah I'm a Dodge guy. Not here to flame and bash or spy, just learn a bit about another diesel. Interestingly enough when I first joined several years ago someone from here helped me out with a classic lift pump. So maybe I can return the favor. I lost the url in a computer crash so that why I've been away.

I guess the first thing is to learn what all these L's, M's, N's, B's, and Z's are.

I've already taken a ride in the newest 07 (LMM??). 1 ton SRW long bed, crew. Nice ride but the fan is way too noisy. After about 1/2 hour it was less but still way too much noise. Considering my 2nd gen 24 valve DCTD is ranked right up there with the noisiest diesels on the planet you can understand when I object to noise it has to be really loud. It just didn't fit the character of the truck.

The truck had good power, soild ride actually harder than I expected. Nice interior, cheap cloth seats, get leather much nicer. Trans worked nice, smooth and positive. I liked the hood's looks. Needs a chrome or stainless exhaust tip haha It's cool but it would be a lot nicer in polished SS. It's big

Quietest diesel that I have ever been around:D If you heard a lound fan noise for a half an hour something was wrong. Much improved interior and exterior sound levels than my 2002 LB7.

I personally drive an 05 LLY and would drive a dodge-Lets face it the cummins is a good motor, I mean its not as fun as shooting flames out like the Ford turds but hey. I just dont fancy the interior on them. Its just a blonde/brunette thing
