Sorry if I am wrong, but I thought only the 2006 hot was level 6. Before that level 5 was the hot juice.

That is Edge's way of making sure u understand that it is an add on mod and they arent going to be responsible for you messing up your truck from the aftermarket mods. Once the last alert is used up it wont show anymore. It always starts with five if it is disconnected and reconnected. They really want u to read the manual so that u understand the different programs.

From what I have seen Edge and PPE products seem to make more smoke than most other products out there. Not that that is a bad thing!

just remember level 5 will add serious tranny damaging power , don't use it in fifth gear till u get your tranny done:badidea:

With my edge/attitude level 5 is hot and level six is around level 2 or 3. You can call edge and give them your serial number and they will know if its hot or not. Its what I had to do after I upgraded to level 6 and it was weeker then level 5. So I got my $100 back.

i'm not sure i follow? you got yours updated to the hot version, and so you had 6 levels, unlike mine which only has 5 levels, and you say your most power comes in level 2 or 3???? but i can call edge and find out if mine is hot?

That makes no sense about level 5 having more power than level 6. The levels are numbered 1 thru 6 for a reason. Put that thing on a dyno and that will tell you how much power each level actually makes. I highly doubt that your power level 5 is hotter than 6 and I also doubt that your power level 5 is comparable to a 2 or 3. If that is the case then Edge let a chip slip through the cracks in production.

Also, correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that if you call Edge and pay for the Hot setting over the phone, they can give you an unlock code to punch in.

I have had the truck on the dyno a couple of times. With my edge/additude level 5 is HOT, level 6 is week because before I paid the $100 to get the hot unlock code, my edge/juice was already HOT on level 5, so when I put the code in it defulted level 6 to a weeker level, somewhere around level 2 or 3. I found this all out by giving Edge my vin and they looked it up and figure this out. That is why I suggested that he just call up Edge and they will let him know if his is HOT or not.

I have an older Hot Juice and my levels are as follows:

1-60hp
2-75hp
3-90hp
4-125hp
5-150+hp (HOT)

Level 5 is nasty and the stock ally don't like it. I run level 5 sometimes anyway lol.
