Im currently running a superchips programmer on my 04 dmax. I get a problem at wide open throttle. THe truck seems to just not want to go anymore untile it shift to the next gear. I was wondering if it is due to low fuel pressure and if so if an upgraded cp3 pump or a fass system would help. I have got no help from the superchips guys.

I'm no expert, but I don't think a Superchips tune can suck enough fuel to need to upgrade your cp3, unless the pump is going bad.

could it be a safety feature on the allison, backing it off during shifts?

have you had the chip on it a long time if so the fprv could be week and a shim kit would solve that i know mine is but i also need to put on lift pumps so i was going to do the shims and pumps at the same time
