I have a weight distribution hitch for my camper. Since this truck sits so much higher than my previous tow vehicle I am going to need a bar with much greater drop. It looks as though the drop will have to be somewhere around 12". Where can I get such an item for my Reese system?

ummmm... a 12" drop....since most balls should sit at around 19" a 12" drop would put you down to the ground once you hook the trailer up...Maybe you should remeasure. Unless of course you have a really high lift on your truck....I donno no signature to see what your driving.

Reese has some really good bars for 2" receivers. I assume you have the stock receiver?

You could try this site

http://www.hitchesonline.com/drawbars/special_mount_main.htm (http://www.hitchesonline.com/drawbars/special_mount_main.htm#ADJUSTABLE) #ADJUSTABLE

and look into the adjustable version.. in case 12" is too much and need more like 10 say

Truck is not lifted at all it is just that the head of the hitch will take up about 6-7" of the draw bar drop section. Gradyghost you are correct. My ball will tow everything I have level when the top of it is 19.5" off the ground. Thought I had found one locally but it was for a Draw Tite setup. Would not fit the Reese head. Someone from the forum PM'd about having one for a Reese head and will get back to me with the info and part #. Thanks all.
