TTS Extreme when it is available and Propane does the trick. Thats if you want to smoke like something that just hopped the fence from the tractor pulls. Big tranny upgrade though is a must first.

Where can I get info on this TTS Extreme???? WIll ti cuase injector problems becuase i assume it must have to flow more fuel to get more Smoke...

Thats why i wonder about the Edge, it doesn't increase the Fuel flow it just lengthens the amount of time it pumps fuel right???? hense less smoke... This truck is ofcoarse my DD and my towrig for my Big truck so it can't be on down time becuase of Injectors or Turbo problems.. Thats my main concern..

I just want to have that smoke pouring for the COOL/EGO factor..

Thanks

WILL

TTS is a vendor hear. Contact Steve Cole (owner of TTS). The Juice will smoke some but it cleans up after you get under way pretty much. Propane will help alittle more, but you will probably get a instant limp mode if you go into 5th (unless you have hade the trans beefed up already). No problems with the injects or the turbo on the LB7s. I don't know about the new Garrets on the LLYs. You will have to talk with Steve about that one. The TTS Extreme is the max you can get in a program.

J/A w/ trailer in level 1-4 low fuel gives a little puff but level 5 (w/o trailer) does put up a smoke screen http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/hihi.gif

So far no limp in level 5

To make an LLY smoke like a 12v you are going to need bigger injects or propane on top of the max tuning you can find. Edited by: Max Power

Mine does pretty good. Nitrous cleans it up though!

Here is a pic on the dyno this weekend.

Yea, thats what I am looking for........

Are all your mods. in your sig.????? I definatelya m getting the Edge, btu ti will take a Stack with a Pup or diablo or something and Tranny upgrades to get that kind of Soot action, Correct???

I know it is nothing but wasted fuel, so would propane actually be better to get, then a Edge or get the Edge then Propane and perhaps stack alter on with Tranny upgrades.

THANKS again everyoe

dpower- Numbers were all over the place, the dyno was messed up. The Pup does pretty good alone. The more I drive it stacked, the less I like it. This is of course is with both on the highest levels, but the power is choppy at best. The turbo hates it (barks) and it tends to miss and stutter at higher RPM's. I need to get over to Johns to get real numbers on it.

Bigwill- Yes, all my mods are in my sig. Wait, its also sleeved.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif As far as power goes, thats it. You will have PLENTY of smoke.

Big Will 21,

Why in the hell do you want your truck to smoke?

A smokin truck is a sign of high EGT's, wasted fuel and a decreasing turbo life. It is nothing more then unburnt fuel going out the tail pipe and does mnot contribute to more power.

I know that... I just want it to smoke up some w/ Mods. and not look like a pantywaste... Whats wrong with that, the Dodges that are Modified do it....If i can get some smoke, I will run Stacks..

Absolute...what was that all about? Big Will....the juice alone on 5 low boost 5 will give ya some pretty decent smoke. I was thinking of going the stack route on mine as well....always liked polished 5 in stacks....thats the only thing I am missin about my old dodge.

BigWill_21

DPower - Exactly, I want to run stacks really bad, every Dodge i see running them looks great... On a 4x4 site I frequent there are several Dodge guys running 5" Stacks both straight ups and turn-outs and they look awesome, and then they post pictures of them spewing Smoke and it just has that look!!!!

Thansk for the Edge Input, I ordered it Tuesday!!! btu what do you mean by low boost 5, is that the De-fuel everyone talks about???

THANKS

The low boost adj is what makes the smoke

there are two fueling adjustments on the edge one is the hp adder which starts adding fuel as soon as the boost gets up and the other is the low boost fueling which helps the turbo spool up a lil quicker and makes a good deal of smoke

run low boost setting 5 for the most smoke in any level

lev 5, low boost lev 5, a 7% grade, and a 30k trailer will prolly make some decent smoke. But some of the smoke might be coming from the Ally cause she is goin to get pissed!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/hihi.gif
