I'm in the market for a Suncoast stage V for my 04.5 LLY. my question is, since i have to swap my tranny am i able to get a 6 speed stage 5 and save some money or do i have to get a 5 speed and do the 5-6 speed conversion? after looking on the suncoast website, the 2 trannys are the same price. is it possible to do the swap with just a TCM swap or do i have to do more? thanks in advance.

They are not the same price and it will not work because of a different operating system. If you want 6 speeds you must buy the SC convertion. They will however discount that price with the purchase of a Stage 5 trans.
