Thought I would buy a set of Toyo LT265/75R16'S H/T/ load range E 10 ply. Going to be pulling a 5th wheel 16000 lb, 2400 tongue wt. I am going to buy new 8in. rims to mount them on. Anybody have any thoughts on these tires? Good choice, bad choice.............thanks for any info...........Rick

Excellent tires. I have had them on 3 trucks and currently have them on my 06 and would buy them again when needed.

HI Brutis, frineds of mine run those tires and really like them. The only point I want to make is, 2400lb pin weight on a 16,000lb fiver is pretty light, IMHO it should be 20-25% of gross weight. You should be looking at a minimum 3200lb pin weight.....on a 2500HD crew 4X4? Again IMHO you are way overweight.

we don't have toyo's on our truck, but we run them on our race cars. Excellent, predictable tires. They do exactly what the company says they will. I imagine the same could be said about their truck tires.

The toyo ht is a great tire for the price. I've had a lot of people happy with them at our shop. The only negitive feedback i've heard from them is that they don't get as much milage vs. a michelin or some brand like that. The Michelin LTX may be more expensive but will last much longer.

Sinterior........UVW is 13800. Do you think i'll be allright if i just take it slow and easy? This will give me good tires and firestone air bags. I definitly know I'm pushing it...................Rick

My experience has been just the opposite, the Toyo's I've had have lased much longer than michelins.
