Im thinking of getting a Four inch exhaust for my DM/LB7.
Does putting on these after market exhausts, void your warranty?http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif

No adding and aftermarket exhaust will not void the warranty. You should be ok.... Good luck

Edster, Welcome to the Place!
If you're talkin mods, you've come to the right place for info! Search the threads here, because we've gone over exhausts pros/cons ad nauseum in the past. Loads of info here.
Exhaust won't void the warranty.

Any suggestions on an aftermarket exhaust for my 2500HD CC LLY? I have heard they increase torque and power slightly and maybe even milage(ever so slightly)...
BTW I am also new to this forum, and will now show my total ingnorance of the GM Diesel. What in the He77 does LLY and LB7 stand for? I checked my VIN and know that I have the 04.5 hence the LLY but for the life of me I have not seen on this forum(and I have searched extensively) what those two acronyms stand for...

LB7 and LLY are GM production option codes. Look in your glove box, you will see a whole list of codes that represent the various bits and pieces that went into your truck. Some where on that list you will see LLY. The LB7 is the engine used in 01-04 trucks. The LLY came in in 04.5.
And welcome to the forum.
