Well I picked up a ATS turbo setup that's need of repair for the truck. I'll be picking up the truck tomorrow likely, so I need to work on a few things for the ATS turbo.

The turbo says allied signal, with Garrett also. I'm trying to find out what rebuild kit I need to get.

It says

408105-5371

Anyone know what "model" this turbo is? I see kits on ebay, but I want to make sure I get the right one.

Is there a metal tag on the turbo? Should have some sort of part # model # or something else to help identify. :grd:

If I'm not mistaken, Allied Signal, AirResearch, and Garrett are now all together in one company. 408105 is a family of chargers, but the specific model 5371 doesn't show up, so it's perhaps ATS specific. Not sure if all the 408105's use the same CHRA, but they might.

Probably talk to Wade at ATS and he will figure it out for you.
