: 6.5 or 6.2 Exhaust Manifolds CanadianRigger 05-12-2007, 11:54 AM What other exhaust manifolds are there that were used on the 6.5 heads but were designed differently for the application, like vans and hummers? Pictures would be a bonus! Its one of those junkyard network places. Put in a request Sunday night, got a call Monday morning, as well as about 15 emails. Dave12 05-13-2007, 07:36 AM www.car-part.com is another good source. There are listings for wreckers all over North America. I found my F lower intake on there. I'm sure you could get it shipped or maybe if someone from the site is local to where you find it, they could pick it up and ship it to you. Dave z79outlaw 05-13-2007, 07:32 PM it would be cool to see someone use the turbo hummer manifold and then use a center mount turbo on a pedestal like on the the d-maxes and powerstrokes, but im sure that would requiring a bit of firewall work and at least a 3 inch body lift. I"m looking to put the turbo about midship of the engine ,probably slightly forward to clear the intake throat, i have no idea where it will end up until i figure out the exhaust plumbing for it, and i'm not worried about parts sticking out of the hood. But it if i suddenly get in a hurry it may end up in the stock position because i want it back on the road! | ||
