I took my truck in to get a few things worked on and they said that they will only replace 2 of the injectors. I thought they replaced them in sets of 8. Here are the balance rates. The left column is in park, the right in drive.
10.62 11.16
-3.60 -3.81
-4.72 -7.15
5.19 7.26
-5.12 -7.64
-5.34 -7.37
-.12 2.52
-3.77 -3.92

I would like all new ones, but I guess its not mandatory. Is there anything I can do?

Bad balance rates don't fall under the Injector special policy.
Get a copy of it and it will help you with the symptoms and test procedures they need to follow.

You could try another dealer too.

I can only have it serviced there since I bought the truck/warranty there and its closer than 40 miles away from my house. I tried to take it to a more reputable dealer, but they couldn't/wouldn't service it.

While the other injectors are within spec, they are not good. I would try to get them to replace the others while it is torn down.

They should only replace them individually only after all 8 have been replaced once.

i see 5 injectors that should be replaced. all 8 will only be replaced if they fall under the special policy and at this point they do not.

Update.

They had to fly in "Mr Goodwrench" to check out the injectors and they said it should be done either today or tomorrow. I still don't know if they are or how many injectors they are replacing.

They do...and...you can take the truck to any dealer...it dosen't have to be the one that sold it to you.

Would an 02 dmax fall under the 7/200000 also if you had bought the extended warrenty?

01 through 03 are covered. It's us 04's that are SOL...
A purchased extended warrenty changes nothing with the injector warrenty from GM.

I'd find me a new dealer, one that will work with me better. And let them know you're looking for a new dealer, even if you have to drive a few miles.
