I have been searching and searching and testing and searching for 3 or 4 days to gain the answer to a remote turn on for my Amps hooked to my Pac Gm24. on my stock H/U
I do NOT want to wire them to ign or switches I want them to work off of the sterio ONLEY.

I made the little cuircit board another member suggested installed it and got nothing

I am VERY elecrically enclined But im no rocket sceinetist nor formallyu educated on the matter..
I have done everything but break out my Osc scope and start designing my own way to work them off the sterio..

My Last problem Is while I was testing with the H/U out the cd no longer works it says no doscs when you try to eject and does nothing when you try to load or request the cd player
Messing around I got it to say intializing on the sccreen and thats about all it will do

FOR Crap sakes somone save my sanity.........

I believe its the pink wire in the smaller plugs on the radio ! That is the power wire for the stock ampwire or turn on . Check with a test light ! If not get a hold of Duratothemax BEN ! He has all the schematics and answers !

Ok , if you want it to come on with the key just like the radio and off with the radio use the brown wire under the colume !

Re check your wiring on the circuit board, that's how I run mine and it works fine. Just a thought, maybe bad parts on the board?

If you want it to run off radio command then tap power from the amp power wire turn on wire in the console... trace it back into the amp and eliminate until you find it. Or you could tap off the amp power wire, its the larger orange wire in the console wiring harness.

I have http://www.matcotools.com/Catalog/photo.jsp?cat=2316&si=29142
This http://www.matcotools.com/Catalog/photo.jsp?cat=2312&si=53623
and this http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?P65=&tool=diagnostics&item_ID=77743&group_ID=1357&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog
I wonder why they dont see 12 vlts comming on and off with the radio button on the wires suggested.. or any others for that matter?

Maybe I need new batterys for my test equipment:D

Hehe anyways... Im pertty sure ive checked every wire on the back of that radio more than three times.

There is no wire that will turn on and off with the radio. It does not exist. On/off commands are done with class 2 data. Unless you want to build a class 2 decoder, you're going to have to sacrifice.
