What happens if you remove the bumpstops? Can it hurt the truck if you take them out?

In the front or rear? In the rear not so much if as long as you don't tow heavy loads. In the front you kinda need them. Metal on Metal is not a good sounds....

I took off the rear ones to make room for my airbag installation.

I did not even know there were bumps stops in the rear. So you think removing the rear ones will help? I usually don't tow more that 6,000 lbs

Help with what? What are you looking to acomplish? If you want more suspension travel yes, remove the front bump stop or cut them but don't be suprized the first time you hear metal smacking togeather. They are put there for a purpose! In the rear if your not installing Airbags you need to leave them on....
