I have an 06 LBZ. I am running the edge w/A2 and have has it on for over 6 months. Recently the truck started to vibrate bad and then threw up SES. Checked codes and they were PO304, PO306, PO308, and PO300. I checked and those codes are for misfires on cylinders 4, 6, and 8. Changed fuel filter, still does it. Took edge out, still does it. I have a shim kit and have never experienced any issues there. Anybody of any clue what might be going on? I was thinking either clogged or bad injectors but the truck only has 16k on it!

Sounds like an injector problem to me. I see all the codes are for even # cylinders so you may have a problem with the fuel rail or a problem with the wire harness to the injectors on that side of the engine. Dont know much about the diesels but thats what i would look into if it was a gasser.

I took it to dealer this morning after removing my chip. Of course the service writers there have not contact with the tech's so he could not just ask a few questions to get an idea of what may or may not be the problem. He did, however, mention the "bad fuel" question. I have never filled up with anything but regular diesel from the pump. I use power services additive but have been using it all the truck's life and never saw a problem. I guess now I just get to wait!

Well, dealer finally got back to me after 2 days. 3 Injectors are bad, nos. 4, 6, and 8. They told me that this would be a warranty repair. Then the service writer did something way beyond what I would ever expect...He said they balance tested the others and found them a little bit out (but not enough to be replaced). So they put in to GM for approval to have them all changed........................................... .....APPROVED. So, I am now rolling on all new injectors. I guess there are some dealers out there working for the customer!

Glad they are taking care of you! Wonder what the cause was for the bad injectors?

Wesleycsu, thats cool that GM replaced them.:D I heard that some of the earlier 06's had some injector issues. Just curious what the build date of your truck is ?

Hang on to that dealer. I had the same problem. I go there because the mechanic is awesome, but he can only do so much without approval. This was on my 2004.5 lly truck. He told me I had a bad injector & I would be back after they replaced the one. I waited two week for the one injector to get put in. He was right two weeks after that I had another one bad. He also said there was another that will go soon, but he could not replace it. Gm told him no. He was right about three weeks I was back in. I called Gm & did demand they all get replace. Gm did finally do them all. I have three young girls & this was happening in the dead of winter her. I bought the truck so I would not break down, but Gm finally did come through.

I am actually impressed with their service! As far as the cause, I think it was bad fuel...I pulled the fuel filter and there was a mud like substance in it. Pretty nasty. I put two new filters in within about 10 miles and the second one was nice and clean. Really surprised they did not try to blame fuel. I AM WINNER!
