Use a paper clip or small awl or finish nail or just something pointy and push it in the hole. It will release the post. You have to do it on both sides.


Why do you need to take out your headrests?

Seat covers most likely, Had to do it to mine !

My wife did not like the position of the head
rest, so I turned the passenger seat side
facing backwards. It changes the angle a
little. For her it is more comfortable.

After getting to frustration level trying to use a pin per the manual I found
that I could pry up the plastic collars around the posts to get access to
the release button directly. The collars pop right back in with no ill
effects.

I think my 01 Burb and my 02 truck had adjustible head rests? That might be the ticket for ya. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley9.gif


They will have a little clicker in the rest. Pull forwward until it clicks, then it will set. I think there are 4 or 5 positions. ...... and yes, they can be broken.
