I just tried to install a Nav-Tool. It came with the worst instructions I have ever seen. I have no idea what to do with the switch or any of the wires coming off the end with the DB-9 connector. I can't even find a website for them.
Thanks,
Tony

Which one did you buy? I purchased this one and it was a simple install and works great.

Tony, check your PM. Mine came with decent instructions, maybe yours didn't get put in the package. The toggle switch is for switching in the video 1 channel. The blue wire hooks to your reverse light and activates the Video 2 channel, which would typically connect to a backup camera. The green wire is supposed to be grounded. If you have white wires, I believe they get grounded, too.

I purchased the Nav-Tool. There's not much to it, just crap instructions. No description of switch settings and a crap picture of an isolation relay.

Yea, the instructions SUCK. But, the unit works great. I had to go to the PAC website to figure most of it out.
