I have an oil leak on the right front side of my 2004.5 gmc diesel. It appears to be leaking from the intercooler lower hose connection. I could tighten the connection, but fear this is not the real concern.
Should there be oil in this line?

Should there be oil in this line? I wouldnt be very concerned with oil in the intercooler, Some oil is normal, however, it its enough to leak, that seems odd

Thanks DMT
I also have the same concern with the oil coming from the lower cooler hose. I was going to post myself before I finally found this post after searching several different ways. I am having a little oil consumption and was concerned. Other than that the engine seems to be performing well.

Local Dealer cleaned the hose connection, applied the sealer, and tightened the clamp. It all seems OK for now. They also reflashed the computer, but can't feel much difference. Does seem like less noise at idle.
